Arabic and Islamic Studies Leader Teache , Al-Huda Academy Durham, NC

Mona developed and delivered engaging and valuable workshops for Al-Huda Academy Arabic and Islamic Studies teachers. What stands out about Mona is that she is flexible, listens well and was able to adapt her expertise to our group’s needs. Her analytical approach reinforces learning and provided us with much to think about, skills to apply and strategies to motivate and engage students. Her use of modeling and practical exercises throughout the workshops gave us great first–hand experience in the application of the skills. Thank you Mona, the information and skills I acquired in this workshop will greatly help me achieve my goals in the classroom.
I met Mrs.Mona Dakrouri at Houston Peace Academy Arabic, Qur'an and Islamic Studies Workshop, 2016. More than 70 teachers and school administrators attended the workshop. Mrs.Mona gave very comprehensive information regarding the workshop topics. Her presentation skills and time management were clear during 6 continuous hours. She managed to attract the workshop attendees’ attention though out the workshop. The thing that I liked the most was her clear educational vision: - She knew very well the educational objectives she wanted to deliver to her audience, - She had the proper knowledge and experience needed to teach the audience how to achieve these objectives, - She had a great deal of grit and willpower needed to inspire the audience throughout their learning experience. In my humble opinion, she is one of few I met nationwide with such knowledge and experience. I do recommend all the educational institutions to benefit from her knowledge and resources.

Bridges Foundation Director,

Through Bridges Foundation, over 19000 Muslims were trained in 25 countries on how to present Islam to non-Muslims and answer their questions, Mona Dakrouri is not just one of them, but rather one of the best presenters of Bridges Foundation.
I had the pleasure of working alongside Ms. Mona Dakrouri in the formative years of establishing Durham's local Islamic elementary school. As the principal and the educational leader for the school, Ms. Dakrouri was instrumental in establishing and developing the Islamic Studies and Arabic programs, which are widely recognized as the most excellent programs available in the area. Ms. Dakrouri had to create and develop these programs from scratch--setting down the foundation, identifying the proper tools and resources, and creating the core aspects of the daily lessons. As part of the development, Ms. Dakrouri conducted workshops on the materials and held one-on-one development and coaching sessions with the teachers to train them on how to create standards and engage the children with creativity. As the curriculum was implemented, Ms. Dakrouri provided the teachers with continuous feedback through periodical observation and evaluation in order to strengthen the content delivery and ensure the children were progressing in the material. The results were positive and exciting. Children who had no prior training in Islamic Studies and Arabic quickly excelled in these subject areas and demonstrated a love of the material. I was impressed with Ms. Dakrouri's approach and the results we achieved in the program speaks volumes about her expertise and her dedication to drive results.

I first met Mrs. Mona at the workshop that she delivered in Apex Mosque. It was about the different strategies and approaches to teach Quran and Arabic. I think that the workshop was really beneficial to us because it taught us a lot about what to teach, when to teach and how to teach in regard to Quran and Arabic. The workshop was delivered in an engaging way that we want this initiative to be repeated in the near future. Thank you so much Mrs.Mona.
